As promised in my introduction, here are some pictures of my very first slingshot that I just finished. It's made out of black walnut using Bill Hays "Patriot" template. I made it fairly thick, just under 1 1/4", fearing that it may break since it's not a natural. I cut it out of a 2" thick...

I am a pretty bad shot but learning every day. Sorry for the poor quality and camera positioning, will change on the next video. I didn't realise how zoomed in it was haha...
It's just the fork for now, I'll be attaching the bands this afternoon and hopefully making a larger natural aswell... I didn't mean to make a PFS for my first slingshot, but atleast I was able to learn a thing or two from it.I'll add a picture of the finished slingshot this evening.
