This one caught my eye this morning. Some of the deadwood was already too weak, but this part may be strong enough. But when it was cut, I noticed that the heartwood had been bored. Then, out crawled a large, dark red winged ant (sorry iPhone pic is out of focus). Then probably 15-20 more crawled

Hello SlingshotForum Friends!!!
This week I was surprised ...And in such a fashion, I must say!!!
Some time ago, me and Btoon made a swap in here. I was to send him some raw acacia forks and he was to send me a homemade slingshot of his.
Turned out that I've received a MONSTER PACKAGE!!!!!
Hello fellow shooters!!!
Never give up on a fork ... At least, that's my motto!! Especially if it's a fork from a dear friend...
I've received many months ago an oak fork from Btoon. I've carved it with jest and joy, but I've always think that fork would deserve a more proper design.
Hi guys I have been almost exclusively pumping out hybrid laminates for months now and I felt like a change. A good amount of the forks I cut at the start of the year are dry enough to work now so

i was cutting this from the PERFECT tree and this was the best tree though when i was cutting i pushed down a bit too hard and a big splint of wood came out the back of it. So i cut the fork well short and now i have this. The bands are tripled up ' super strong ' resistance bands that taper...
Found this small fork a few weeks ago on a fallen branch and thought it might as well not go to waste and do have made a small one for my younger sister. Poach fits 9.5 mm lead and steel very nicely and marbles okay. Bands are ' super strong ' resistance bands taper cut from 25mm to 18mm.
Finally I got some spare time to work and finish an oak fork that my dear Slingshotforum friend Btoon84 swaped with me some time ago. What a nice wood to work! I decided to give the fork a simple "Y" shape, with a small and sturdy handle. It comes with double latex bands (2cm)...
One of the boys at the pub does some renovating around town and the other day asked if I'd be interested in some american oak. of course I said sure. So ended up doing an 'Albacore' laminate of karri and oak with a karri swell.
I think it came up all right, but I must admit having never used...
One of five slingshots that i've made in my grandfather's country, center region of Portugal, made out of cork oak wood (Quercus suber), very dried and strong. It's equipped with 2cm double layer blue TB.
Hope you like it!!!
