I made these specifically for shooting 1/4 inch steel in the SSF 300 club. They are 1mm thick x 40mm x 15mm. I modeled them after some from Torstens video. Some i made previously where to narrow for the forces being applied.
This is just a recommendation to everyone.
Last week, i ordered the Trailblazer slingshot from Amazon for about $7.
The slingshot is about 5 inches in height and 3 inches across the forks. The bands it comes with are decent, and the pouch leather it comes with is great. I recommend it to anyone...
Built not that much the last months, but needed a few new ones because I changed the size of my slingshot - from 3,5 - 4cm back to a 3cm fork gap.
Had a few pieces of exotic wood left and this cames out first:
Black Ebony body with 2 flat pieces of Amboyna on the front and back...
Found this small fork a few weeks ago on a fallen branch and thought it might as well not go to waste and do have made a small one for my younger sister. Poach fits 9.5 mm lead and steel very nicely and marbles okay. Bands are ' super strong ' resistance bands taper cut from 25mm to 18mm.
I have decided I would like to make an original pfs. I've been looking around for a pfd but can't seem to find anything to scale. I've seen pfsshooter's video on the sizing but would much prefer it if someone could point me in the right direction to find something to scale.
Today I have been making two pfs slingshots out of aluminium. I've never worked with aluminium and i'm new to making slingshots.
The one on the right is an "attempt" at Danny0663's pfs.
The one on the left, and in my hand is my own design! (sorry about blurry images!)
Made from a fork knocked down by a delivery truck from a Small Leaf Linden Tree in Brooklyn.
Tools: Swiss Army knife, 4 way rasp and sandpaper.
Height = 5 in
Fork width = 2 3/4 in
I just love pickle fork shooters, and so may trim the forks down further.
Its set up with 8" of 1842 and a Rayshot...
Again a small slingshot. This one is actually my smallest one.
My phone doesn't take any good pics but you can still see it somehow. Also as size comparison there are A 9mm blank, 5 and 10 euro cent coins and my roller cutter (28mm I think).
Inspired by Gamekeeper Johns shared design i made such a fish-style boardcut. The fork is a little wider, the tail is modified and the rest is a little more smooth to fit my hand. Since the last pocket slingshot i made i am really a fan of small shooter mounted with medium to strong bands. Its a...
