I just received a new/used Dankung Scorpion from Bugar.
The bands are the black 1745's
Queston:
Is there a trick (other than being very careful) to not let the bands slip down and pop through the installation groves?
I have seen guys "speed" shoot these, but I keep getting bands popping into my safety glasses!
Be kind and please don't call me stupid, I'm being careful to carefully align the bands each time but it's kind of taking the fun out of shooting with the chinese style frame.

Pull with the forks facing you and the handle pointed away from you until you are near full draw. And they angle the slingshot appropriately.
