Well this is my second attempt with my new saw, once again done completely freehand. Still quite a way to go just rough cut with some shaping done so far.... along way from perfect but I figure after a couple of hundred more I might make a acceptable one with luck.

Actually I think of it as a V drawn by a two year old with a broken crayon....

The last I made was more symetrical, did this one in hope of making it easier to grip, Haven't finished it yet to know if it worked. Once I get more familiar with the saw I will try working from a pattern as it is doing it freehand I'm lucky it is a symetrical as it is. .

Thanks guys
Here's the two together, the first I made shoots best straight up, hammer grip with thumb braced beneath the cut out, the other can be shot the same but is better canted with thumb and forefinger wrapped around at divots. They both shoot fairly well, the pouch on the second one is very stiff and I had a couple wild shots till I got used to it.

They look great to me!! I am curious how one would hammergrip it though? In any case great job!!

"Veni, Veri, Vichi" You can't spell victory without the V. You rock man.
You can't spell Veni, Vidi, Vici without the letters d or c either.

maybe I'll try to make one like a D or C next.

As a side note I christened the first as the Valkyrie

Sort of like this, it wouldn't work with heavy bands but with light tubes it works pretty well..
