Here's a couple I have been working on. The natural is white birch with many coats of linseed oil. The little combo-shooter is an ash boardcut that still needs finishing.
Haven't shot either of them yet.

Thanks for looking.

Great looking slingshots Dayhiker! Hope we get to see the other one (ash) when it's finished.

Good Dayhiker!

I really like the birch, the curve seems excellent foothold on hand. how hard a birch? Wye subject with right or left?

Chepo
Thanks, guys.
Chepo, Birch es muy fuerte para una resortera. No entiendi bien tu pregunta.

I'm not sure exactly what this says, but if it says Birch is a good wood, flexible and firm then I agree; my favourite wood for all these things is either Oak, Ash or Birch, so you've won my vote ... I also hear Dogwood is good too, with similar properties, but it needs to be very dry.
The best of both worlds, a natural and a natural inspired board cut....great work...
I like them both, but that birch naural is very nice.
