Decided to try some penetration tests with sniper black at butterfly draw on some bean can. First shot just got a single wall penetration. Got a through n through on the second shot. I love that exit wound. I didn't even use water or anything to weigh the can down.

0.5mm sniper black, 23mm:16mm taper, 10" ABL, 3/8" steel, 50" draw, 10m distance

Continuing on my journey of penetration testing with Snipersling Black, I decided to try putting a hole into this protein powder bucket. Nope, wasn't happening. I got through both walls of a steel bean can with 3/8" steel, but not this guy. I used a full butterfly cut with a 23mm:15mm taper and a 10" ABL. No dice.

What is it made of? Recycled Nokia phones? Nintendonium?

Cut a can with 3/8"ers w/ a decap right after. Then shot at this little 1" target a few times. Finally got my accuracy down to the sniper precision that I see in all them youtube videos, only took a couple years of agony 😅

I FINALLY DID IT. I BEAT MY PERSONAL RECORD FROM A COUPLE YEARS AGO. by a friggin mile, too.

My old record was 8 shots.

THIS is what the can looked like after 3 shots.

The 4th shot sealed the deal.

The stars aligned, I did everything right. Can a can be cut in 3 shots? I don't know. Maybe with 1/2" steel and perfect placement. This one was with 3/8" steel.

Really finding that shooting only one frame helps dial in your shots, agree!
If had to choose one set up from my about 15 this would be it.
