Some time ago I embarked on the mission to find out how far you can hit something with the slingshot. And now it is slowly starting to get somewhere. This is my first time trying over 200 meters.
In following Facebook link to my page you can see the short edit ( sorry, I don't have You tube channel and also I'm not good editor ;-).
Some details: target 40x40cm. Home made slingshot. TheraBand black, full butterfly, 3/8 steel, about 290 fps when not heat up, about 42 degrees Celsius on the sun, up to 10 knots wind gusts.
Please, if there is anyone playing with similar things, I would love to compare notes and see how far down the range we can push the target in the end..
Awesome! I just started shooting and long distance shooting is the thing that I’m most interested in. The longest shot I’ve seen so far was 100 meters. This is so amazing to see! Hope to get on this level as well.
