Steel?

I have shot glass marble at 304 fps 80 grain not 250 grains of steel.

I'm pretty sure I got 260 fps with a 0.62 inch lead ball which is 359 grains. I used Gold Theraband and a large fork extension but a conventional (non butterfly) draw.

I don't have any 5/8 steel balls. I did shoot 224 fps with a 3/4 lead ball though. This video shows it (after the Novitzkenegger shot), here:


And I have often shot 15 mm steel balls (5/8 is 15,89 mm) at over 260 fps. That is no big deal.
