I haven't decided what tubing or flats I'm going to use for these but I thought some of you might like to see them - The forks are 1/8" thick aluminum and they need a little more polishing but they were quick and simple....Kinda like me :hmm: The background is another piece of some NICE curly or tiger and some additional swirly stuff that will probably be sawed up eventually!

Yes very unique. Simple but effective. How did you thread the screws?
The .50 has a hickory dowel glued in and the fork is help by a large screw - The .30 has a hole drilled in the bottom and a 1/4" bolt fits pretty snug - I'm sure there are other options....these were just the easiest for me - Thanks for the compliment!!

Here's the 30 Cal with 1632 Tubing and attached through some special stainless bolts I had made for other projects loooong ago - the holes in the bolts are VERY smooth to avoid any friction problems concerning the tubes.....again on the nice piece of maple!
