I think that I made this Beech wood slingshot in about 2000. I have been using this similar pattern since about that time. The way that it is signed indicates that that is about when it was made. I have changed this pattern a little along to make it a little easier to make and a little stronger. The basic pattern is still my favorite board cut pattern. I shoot right handed with the fork in my left hand, but I have been known to shoot left handed when I need to. Notice the sight marks. I started using them at about that time also. Tex

Very nice design!

I don't know what signature you're putting on your gear nowadays -- but if you are not still using that logo, you should definitely bring it back out and start using it again! That "shooting star" brand is awesome!!

I 100% agree! However, I think Bill kinda quit making frames to sell. But if I am wrong, it would be so cool to have one of his SHOOTING STARS!
