Tried a different approach to the opfs. So far so good 👍😊
Thank you! These are a bit on the smaller side but they are awesome! And the glow stuff is a bit hard to blend into the wood but I'm sure I can get it close enough to where a few good coats of clear gloss should make it a smooth transition 🤞 if not still cool and comfortable.interesting concept, love the glow in the dark![]()
Thanks man! Nope just some other glow material lolVery nice, in the fourth picture seems like it has a led inside💡
Thank you reed! It's actually wood stabilized with resin! So thats just a resin part!I like that! How did you set the blue band ties in there?
That's gorgeous![]()
haha no pressure Steve! But your support is greatly appreciated 🤣I'm gonna have to get a part time job just to support my pfs habit and you're not helping!
I appreciate it Chris! Sealing them both right now.Nice work Jon.
So with stabilized wood they take a piece of wood and soak it in a solvent epoxy mixture then stabilize it which sucks that epoxy deep into the wood the solvent then goes away and your left with a very solid slab of expoxy and wood.still trying to figure out the blue "fork" tips,,,resin?
Thanks man. I think this looks different than most because it was a scrap piece that he turned into a blank so it just looked strange to begin with.cool, never seen it come out like that before, very neat![]()
Here are those scrap scales hope this helps hahacool, never seen it come out like that before, very neat![]()
Yes you are correct. He does both types as well!Hybrid resin 👌🎯👍. My cousin does some unbelievable tables doors guitars you name it with this like but alot of the wood if stabilized it's with cactus juice I'm sure? Unless it's going on the pressure pot which forces the resin into the wood. 👍🎯👊
Bro I'm not jumping in with info to be a deuch it's just well skarrd asked what it was so I gave what I knew to be correct 👊🎯💙👍👌🏴Yes you are correct. He does both types as well!
