What wood did you use?
The Black Palm and the Lignum is the larger pieces, the core is Purple Heart and Padauk, the green spacers are dyed Sycamore and the white spacers are Alder veneer

wow that ca glue looks fantastic, how was it applied ?
Exactly as per Nathans tutorial.

Lots of heavy but even coats, and i mean lots, applied with a nitrile gloved finger.... I then sanded it back through the grits up to 600 wet, then hit it with a cutting compound on a buffing wheel for ages. The wheel I used was very poor and the cutting compound was not really aggressive enough, but shows what is possible without extravagant tools. I could have done a ton better with my own polishing wheels, although the results are pretty cool all the same.

Well Done! I am not a big gloss finish guy, but that really looks nice!
