Here are side and front views of a buckthorn slingshot I like. I got two off the same branch that look similar. This one has 6 hollows.

I call this one my ghost slingshot, as it has ghost eyes and mouth.

This one is from a piece of deadwood, probably boxelder.

This one is another buckthorn. I leave underbark on buckthorn for color. However, you can get little slivers, so I have to clear-coat it.
