A Pair of Pocket Shooters

Made these bb shooters today, one for chinese tubes and the other for flats.

Nice! i have been shooting bbs alot lately as they are great to shoot indoors.
Thanks fellas. I finished them with spray poly from a can, but dont like it. I think ill stick with spar varnish from now on.

Q, that looks like Red Oak, I just finished my first board cut in Red Oak, I finished it with Linseed Oil, nice soft finish, just the right sheen to bring out the grain. Nice work.

What didn't you like about the spray? Great work BTW.
I got a few bubbles with the spray poly that i didnt like. I will sand and recoat next weekend. Its not bad looking, just not what i expected.

I laminated a peice of red oak to poplar, so they are red on one side, and golden on the other. My other boardcuts i finished in spar varnish, which i was really happy with.
