Hey guys and gals,

Thought I would make a quick post about this knife I made for my father.

It is 0-1 tools steel with mahogany scales with a boiled linseed oil finish and brass liners . I never put a crazy high polish on it as it will be an edc mostly cutting boxes and balers twine. Tableware Vertebrate Knife Mammal Wood
Musical instrument Musical instrument accessory Wood Baseball Tool
Tableware Knife Utility knife Kitchen utensil Hunting knife
Tool Bumper Knife Wood Automotive exterior

Very nice blade Shane, you make the Kydex sheath too ?

Thanks a lot Darrell.

Yes I made the kydex sheath as well. I usually stitch the kydex with artificial sinew for a kind of modern classic look. But Dad wanted aluminum rivets lol

I also put a pocket clip on it after I took the picture.

You got one of those presses or do you just use heavy foam for the sheath? Nice job by the way.
Thank you

Don't laugh at me, I just use 2 layers of foam per side from an old yoga mat, used some pray adhesive to stick the foam to some 1" plywood, then I press it in my big woodworking Vise.

I did this to get me through till I built a press. That was 12 years ago and probably 80 knives and still haven't built a press lol
