Hey guys and gals,

Thought I would make a quick post about this knife I made for my father.

It is 0-1 tools steel with mahogany scales with a boiled linseed oil finish and brass liners . I never put a crazy high polish on it as it will be an edc mostly cutting boxes and balers twine.

Yes I made the kydex sheath as well. I usually stitch the kydex with artificial sinew for a kind of modern classic look. But Dad wanted aluminum rivets lol

I also put a pocket clip on it after I took the picture.

You got one of those presses or do you just use heavy foam for the sheath? Nice job by the way.

Don't laugh at me, I just use 2 layers of foam per side from an old yoga mat, used some pray adhesive to stick the foam to some 1" plywood, then I press it in my big woodworking Vise.

I did this to get me through till I built a press. That was 12 years ago and probably 80 knives and still haven't built a press lol
