I discovered this behind the stable. The funny thing is that I cut down the rest of this small maple tree last summer as I was clearing the area. Back then my vision wasn't tuned in to seeing slingshots everywhere, which is the obsessive case right now, ???? so luckily I didn't cut the tree further down. Check it out.

Twig Branch Wood Terrestrial plant Trunk

The thickness of the forks are about 20 mm across and the stem/handle is about 50 mm as it stands right now. I'm going to plan this carefully because I believe that it's a unique fork. My plan, after cutting it with excess, is to tie the forks together, just to force them in place an then leaving it to dry for as long as it takes.
Any suggestions on this method? Should i heat it up to make it more pliable? You tell me.
