A work in progress

I needed something a little more robust to take some pressure off of my healing index finger, which is finally starting to show signs of progress. I prefer a slim, compact design, but my finger is more important than pocketablity, so here it is...

Not sure if I like the fork tip shape. It looked great in hand, but the video shows a different perspective. Let me know what you think please. This build is more about comfort, but I still want it to look good.

I still have some sanding to do, but wanted some input before I started finishing.

Thanks in advance

MW (Len)

No doubt a Mikmaq! My hands are older and beat down from sports and laboring in my youth, and keyboards and b.s. in my later years. I need a frame that cradles my hand so I don't need to actually grip the frame much. Fork tips are still my nemesis. I don't have an absolute favorite which doesn't help me much.

I hear ya man...my hands have been abused so badly over the years, I struggle to hold a coffee cup some days. I can predict the weather by the way they feel in the morning...lol
I'm hoping the chunky frame will allow me to get my hunting bands back in action. Fingers gently crossed

That looks fantastic Len, gonna be a stunner when finished.

Is the darker area inherent to the grain, or a little bark left intact ?
