I have been having so much fun bashing and cutting cans I haven't spent much time on smaller targets. I have been moving back and shooting the cans from 15-20 yards to make up for the larger target, but for improving accuracy this is probably still less than optimal.
When going through the grocery I noticed 7.5 oz soda cans, and only $1.88 for a six pack! I couldn't resist. Still not a tiny target but smaller than a 12 oz can and a step up in degree of difficulty from 20 yards.
And since I am trying to put less of that junk in my body, they make fun exploding targets on the first shot before hanging them in the box to finish cutting (too sticky and messy to blow up in the box).
Pic shows single hits on full cans, one with 3/8" and one with 7/16". It took me 4 and 5 shots respectively to get these from 20 yards, but the misses were close. And the 7/16" nearly cut it on one hit.
So I am still having a hard time with disciplining myself to practice with small spinners and the like but I am finding neat compromises to add challenge while keeping the fun factor that can bashing provides.
