I must be getting soft in my later years, I want to make a few very special slingshots to give to my Godson and my two great nieces and their brother. My question is has anyone used 1/4 aircraft plywood.

I've used it for smaller frames like a pfs or something else with a small gap.
The right frame in this picture is mainly 1/4" ply with 1/8" ply for the handles. If you are making something for a beginning shooter I would consider 1/2" it'll take more of a beating. You could also glue two 1/4" layers together if you already have 1/4".

I've used 8 and 10mm - the 10mm seemed better. I have also made some birch ones in 1/4" and they do flex slightly under heavier handsets - but not broken any yet...
