With all the really neat slingshots coming from all you vendors around the world, it would be great if you'd consider working together and shipping a supply of your "standard" models to each other in batches (to save overseas shipping costs). Become informal overseas distributers for each others products (on a small scale). I don't know how that would work for your businesses, but it would sure make us customers happy (at least me!) The shipping charges for a single slingshot can almost approach the selling price for that slingshot in some overseas transactions.

It would be really nice if a few archery stores here and there around the world added a selection of both factory AND custom slingshots, and allowed people to try them out on their indoor range ... it would stimulate public exposure and sales both, and also give customers more direct access to getting properly setup and equipped, in person. We can each do our part to make that happen by suggesting it the next time we visit our area archery ranges ... if there's enough voices and demand, it may actually happen here and there.

As for myself, I'd like to once again thank Flatbands for the generosity of allowing me to play with so many of his slings at the last LI Shootaround ... I've come to better appreciate what a rare opportunity that was, and I look forward to someday being able to do that again. If I ever grow my collection, I'll pass the favor on to other new shooters.

Yes, that makes sense, but not many makers have much excess production.

As for Hong Kong, I'm pretty much the entire market myself, as far as I can tell. Besides danny of course, but he shoots all Chinese stuff.

Sounds like a really good idea to me, i would like to see something like a group buy like on alot of other forums. Ship everything to the one vendor in that country for discount shipping with non of getting your arse smacked with the customs tax. I live in the UK and would love to try some of Gary's or Bill's bands aka ( Flatband & Tex Shooter )
