I think my draw length is about 58" now

That is exactly what mine is when I want to get eveything I can out of a set of bands, but, I dont always shoot full tilt . I am looking for a camera to take vidoe can you tell me what kind of camera you use and if you use a tripod to set it up?

I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7

Nice job Joe! I also am going to try Albatross/Butterfly style. I cut the bands,loaded them on a frame and will try this weekend. It is such graceful, elegant style-it just begs to be tried! You shoot that style very smoothly Bud! Flatband

Yes, it reminds me of shooting the Yumi (Japanese bow). It just looks so amazing. I see a PS-1 in bamboo with the butterfly bands in my future. I just think it would go well together. Maybe with a butterfly logo...

So many of the great shooters I've been seeing are shooting this way. Lighter pull, faster speeds. I wonder if you get better band life with lighter and longer bands.

I like a longer band and they do last longer. Actually a 12 1/2 inch band would be fine for me .
