ME!!!!! Most of you know that our own “Island Made” built a beauty of a SSOTM entry but what ever happened to it? It showed in my mailbox today! So he won the contest but I won the prize. This beauty is a designer masterpiece. It even has a secret compartment for the Allen key to change bands with.( Wrap and tuck has been gettn harder for me) . And if you were ever a kid you know that ..... secret compartments are WAY COOL!! Thank you sooooo much my friend for this beauty!

Am I the ONLY to mention the obvious around here?? If you manage to lose that Integrated Custom Tool that is beautifully crafted and hidden in the frame then you are basically stuck with those bands until the end of time. One of a kind? Likely no warranty nor ability to find replacement parts as it also appears from this point of view that it COULD be Made in Canada which implies that the wood used could be an endangered species! I feel like I might sound like an alarmist but I am really more of a protector. You can send it to me and I'll make it my honor to save you from a future of heartache and misery over this 'gift'.

Nice try buddy. LoL I ship out every one I build but when a friend sends me one it's till death do us part. If I need repairs or maintenance I'll just call on my friend.
Sure can't blame ya for trying though. This one is extra special. (And it has a secret compartment) Hahahaha!

Speaking of which I get a call about once a month from a friend in the Mojave who 'forever borrowed' that IBJ Custom Backflip you made for me. He tells me that 'his' slingshot has saved his life. Funny, I believe him, because it is a Backflip! Please know that I ain't crying about my Backflip being gone, because we saved a man's life!
