That's up to personal choice. All my forks are dead fall, brush piles, storm downed etc... I won't cut from live treesSchool me a little on collecting for a natty. Live trees only or can dead ones be used? What's the best way to preserve or dry?
I ran into a black cherry tree today in the park with a good looking fork on a dead branch that I cut and brought home. It has some checks but I would think they could be filled with epoxy. Is it worth the effort?P3120011 (Medium).JPG![]()
