I use the OTT(over-the-top) attachement for flatband.

some shooters told me the 'match-stick' attachment is better, it's easy to replace the bands.

can someone share some information of 'match-stick' attachment ? such as how to do it? what's the advantage? I searched the whole forum but failed finding any valuable posts.

The matchstick method works well with gum rubber, but is no good wiht broad flatbands.

Match stick is generally not used for over the top, Ithink Tex has one rigged that way but it's his own creation if I remember right....you'll find info here bottom of page

Iuse a similar method with tubes on some of my naturals...Ijust drill a hole instead of cutting a slot

how to do it is easy! u have to take care that the slot isn´t to wide and take care that the ruber don´t slip out! on a target catty it is no problem.

Here is my over the top and also a through the center. A piece of gum rubber for a band lock works better than a match stick or any thing else that I have found! If you have the slots pointed out or down, the bands stay put better. I love my over the top's and would not take for them. Tex-Shooter
