Making looped tube configurations and wanted to know who used looped 1842 for 3/8" steel in a OTT set up ?

Want to know how much hand slap U get get as it is better you get the hand slap than me --- LOL, LOL, LOL.

I use looped premium 1842s for 3/8 with dk frames and I get no hand slap even if max them out. It's a nice setup imo, not much more draw weight than looped 2040s

I consider looped 1842 too much rubber for 3/8 steel. You may finds this chart of interest. Full draw for me is 34 inches. Note that 2040 and 1842 are very close in performance, and that, at 30 inches draw, you have to shoot 1/2 inch lead for looped 1842 to show any advantage over looped 2040.

I use 1842 singles or pseudo looped - in fact my go-to for 3/8. Work very well,

I have been playing with looped 2040 and 1636 (GZK), 6" loops and a 30" draw. I can't tell the difference in speed with 3/8 steel. The same setup with looped 1842 seems to work well with 7/16 and 1/2 steel.
