Just wanna let everyone know I'm super sorry that I've been on "radio silence" for a bit. I struggle depression every day and for the past bit it's been really hard to just face the day let alone do anything I enjoy. I hadn't picked up one of my cattys for almost 2 months until today and it instantly reminded me of the fun and stress relief I had been missing, it also reminded me of the great group of people on this forum and in the SS community all together. I've missed you guys!

Hey Kotton thanks for coming back! I have swam in those same dark waters for longer than I like to admit. The recent changes in the world does not make for a good mind, but Slingshots do! We can focus, adjust, and feel the success of making these things work. We are here for you brother, this is WHY we are here!

Hey Kottonmouth, were all here for the fun of it, the support and camaraderie of strangers, but brothers and sisters of the sling nonetheless, so we are here for you brother.
Welcome back and keep up the good fight my friend.

Depression sucks, I know first hand. However these great people on this here forum can certainly give you a little brightness in your day, or at least they brighten my day :)

I understand 100%.
I was absent for well over 6 months because of depression. It was so bad, I felt that I didn't have anything to offer anyone...but, the thing I didn't realize was that I was isolating myself from the people that accepted me unconditionally.. and understand more than anyone else...
If you need someone to talk to, please inbox me...I live with PTSD, OCD, and BPD...it includes depression, anxiety, and depression...just know you aren't alone

You're brave to talk ... most all of us know that emotional paralysis, a little or a lot..

I don't understand it, but in my years I've learned that it doesn't last and that I emerge stronger ... you did.

Knowing it's just part of the flow of life has strengthened my patience to wait it out.

Hey fella... depression is a bitch, I also fight the stuff. Haven't wanted to work in the yard or tinker with my hobbies. I have found that if I can force myself to get some exercise it seems to help. Also doing something nice for someone else gives me a lift. That is where this forum comes in. These people aren't asking any thing from you but your participation. Be nice and send some someone a little slingmail, give a guy a compliment. Hopes this helps man, I know where you are coming from.

Welcome back to the forum. My experience is that there are a lot of fine folks on this site and even though they are out there in cyber space that honestly care about their slingshot friends. Just want you to know that you have support here, just take it one day at a time and have faith that there are better days ahead.

I know what you've been experiencing all too well. Part of the reason I've got into shooting even more so recently. I find the act of shooting very therapeutic. I really concentrate on my breath between each shot which is exactly like a lot of meditation techniques I've been practicing. I know some might find this nonsense but I'm just being completely honest here.

I'm a new member here and I don't know you. But feel free to message me if you ever need to.
