Someone posted recently on one of the forums about filling plastic bottle caps with hot glue. Can't remember who it was so if you read this thanks and please take credit! Poke a hole in the edge and insert a loop of string with a knot to help anchor in the glue. Fill with glue. *Tip... If your glue gun has different settings, use the highest so the glue flows easily and self levels. Let it cool and you're ready to go.
They take a beating and hold together great. This one has been hit close to 100 times. The plastic is breaking off, but the glue is in great shape. The string broke when it was twisted and I shot it on the edge. Super easy to make, cheap and long lasting. Definitely worth a try!
