Baltic Birch Frame

A couple weeks ago I took down the pencil and paper and sketched out an offset handle, low forks frame. I took designs from frames I love and put them all together into this beauty. S2 tail, Apex fork radius, and an inverted micro raptor head all came together beautifully. I started with a full 1'' thick piece of BB, and slowly but surely sculpted away to get what I wanted. I learned a lot in this build, how to radius edges for comfort and how to get a slick finish being just a couple. Sanded to 800 grit, with 4 coats of poly. The end result came out a little different from the template, but it's a shooter!
