I'm happy with TBG but itching to try something else. Those of you regularly using GZK, USOPP, BSB, Precise, etc. with 3/8 steel, please let me know which brand and size. Leaning towards Gen 3 Precise .65 and want to see how close I am to making a good choice! Thanks!

I have some .55 precise and for 3/8, I think I'm using a straight cut 5/8

The gen 3 presice is a good choice. It's got a smooth stretchy draw kinda like TBG but it's fast. Very zippy. You will never look back at the TB.
Without your draw length I can't help with the cuts.

I draw about 35 inches. I prefer straight cut and usually find what works using either 5/8, 3/4 or 7/8.

Lately I have been using 1/2 inch straight cut .70 / .75 from a few different makers for 3/8 ammo. In my opinion you end up with about the same amount of latex in total and I like the feel of the 1/2" cut. To me it is easier to draw but still fast and snappy. Also with it being a straight cut I can trim it easily where as a taper would change the taper with trimming.

Funny, but on a whim last night I cut 1/2" TBG bands. They were working very well with 3/8.

I find gzk.72 green or black or gzk. 76 black with a 20-15mm taper to shoot very fast with 3/8 steel. Not tried precise, but the bsb is good too, however I don't find it lasts as long as the gzk I've tried.

Gzk .72 or .76 18mm straight cut would be good for 3/8 too
