I bought a used table bandsaw, but its missing a little thing. Those metal pins that keep the blade in place, is that something special or can i Just put in any metal rod that fits?

I had to find pins like that for mine. It was a hassle but after enough searching on the web I found them. No idea if you need the genuine pins or if any rod that fits will work, but I went with finding the part.

I wish I could remember. Mine is a Ryobi, so I googled "Ryobi bandsaw replacement parts". Ryobi didn't have anything but after clicking enough links I found a couple of third party sellers who had every part for just about every model it seemed. The helpful ones had schematics so you could ID the parts and feel pretty good they were the right ones for the right model. I think the link below is to the site I used.

You could use brass rod or a graphite composite for the pins (I use brass.) These guide pins don't actually touch the blade when set correctly.
