Man Jim...You're shooters are awesome lookers!!! They remind me of some of the hand made bows we used to shoot!

Thanks Smitty...I really enjoy making them, even if I keep copying Tex's design. It's the design I like shooting the best. This fork glued up very well, and finished just as well. I cut around a knot in the board, that was postioned in between the forks. The grain kinda does a circle below and up through the forks because of the knot. I'm happy with how it turned out.

With the amount of research that Tex put into its' design I have plans to make a "Tex-Fork" also. I'm just waiting for a trip into Colorado Springs to visit the hardwood store to purchase some wood worthy of the design. Your skills are most assuredly doing his design a justice!

of Maple into the annuals of slingshot history!
