I was using an old styrofoam archery target as a backstop when shooting in my yard. Using mostly clay balls for safety. Only problem is that after a few hundreds hits, the foam is falling apart and making a mess. Tossed it and built this backstop today. It's 36" x 20". Has a shelf to place shootables on and a hanger to dangle cans for cutting. Made from 2x6 lumber so plenty strong. Hoping the clay balls just shatter on impact.
