Took along my little apprentice today!

We made a basil, chicken & feta on some lovely flatbread and baked it over the coals - turned out AWESOME! Then, we made some aluminum foil out of some aluminum cans on the tracks on the walk home! Awesome way to spend a day off, he learned a lot & I had a blast having him along with me.

I often take him shooting but this is the first time I've shown him how to cook outdooors - I'd say he's a natural haha.. He took along his Chalice banded up with TBG, & I had my Deadwood natty with gum rubber. He shot marbles & dad used stones & honestly, it wad almost too much fun...

...It doesn't get much better than this.

For better or worse, I haven't personally reproduced,???? but I have lots of young nephews and cousins and taking them on adventures is really rewarding. I made a Swedish candle the other night and did some night fishing after a day of them fishing at the lake house. My fondest memories are things like this from my own childhood. Nice work, Dad????. He'll remember this for the rest of his life????.

I made a Swedish candle the other night and did some night fishing after a day of them fishing at the lake house. My fondest memories are things like this from my own childhood. Nice work, Dad. He'll remember this for the rest of his life.
