What hand and eye is your dominant?

 

If you hold it facing left in your right hand... some called gangsta... your left eye would be more lined with the band to the upper fork, and if you use the slingshot to help reference your aim, that would be the ideal eye to use (left).

However, if you want to hold the slingshot the same way and use your right eye, that should be possible.

You will have to make some slight adjustments to your form though, because it will cause you to raise and shift your fork to cater to your opposite eye.

Two things you may have to do.

raise your pouch anchor (left hand) and/or tilt your head down abit.

This is all with the assumption that you are using the upper portion of the upper fork as site reference.

Make slight adjustments bit by bit, taking up to 5 shots at a time between adjustments. this will give you an idea how it effects your ammo placement.

Thanks for this post i tried the experiment and i am right eye dominant so must be something else wrong with my style of shooting ???

 

I've got a difficult time closing my left eye alone without screwing up my face as well - though it's much better now than when I was a kid.
I'm left eye dominant though, so I close my right eye.
