I finally got my catch box done.

The back is lined on the inside with a high density foam with black pillow cases hanging about 2 1/2" in front of it.

It has one eye bolt on the top centered in the opening to hang cans, it also has a eye bolt on each side of the opening to mount spinning targets.

I painted the inside flat black and the outside flat black, gray and brown.

I bought a cover for it to keep the rain and unwanted varmints out.

I shot about 250 7/16" steel balls into it today and didn't have any bounce out.

It's looking pretty spiffy! I can tell you from experience that perhaps had my involvement if you rear end it with a Honda pilot it'll survive. Don't ask me how I know

We must have had the same idea. At my job site we have some left over barrels 30 gal to be correct. By law they need to be destroyed, so with that being said they tend to build up. Well just yesterday i was granted to take one. So i cut it, cleaned it and made this....

I also use a small carabineer to hang cans with. However i didn't think about a cover till i saw yours...so i apopted for a heavy construction trash bag
