Hey guys! So I was watching the youtubes quite a bit the other day and got really inspired to do try a bit of carving. I picked up some bits for my dremel and then picked out a fork to try on. I sketched out what I felt would be a simple enough design to begin with and got to work. First I shaped the slingshot to the design I wanted. This took roughly 45 minutes or so. Next, I sketched my carving design onto the shooter. I spent a couple hours carving away at my design. After the carving, I spent a ton of time on sanding up to 320 grit. Finally, I had a finish of automotive clear sprayed and here we have it. This was a really fun experience and I look forward to doing more of this in the near future. Thanks for looking!

Another WOW! Look's like a tail of a rattler to me, fantastic!
Thank you! You're the 4th person who's told me that so far. ;)
That looks good. You may not lose your grip with that.
Thanks! And nope. It provides for a nice solid grip.
Quite interesting indeed. Very nicely done!
Thank you!

imagesVWFF4106.jpgAwesome as usual, Drew! At first it reminded me of the under side of a Praying Mantis!
Thanks! It kinda does look like that too.
Another beauty Drew. Love the curve
Thanks Joe!
