Can anyone please point me in the right direction to find the instruction manual for the chronograph below.

I know that there isn't much to them but I would like to know if it's switchable between meters to feet per second and how to use the shot sequence averaging.

HAVING TROUBLE WITH IMAGE .... Bog standard chrony with two overhead strips with IR LEDs in and receptors under each srip in long black boc with red switch on top .... PHEW

TIA r

How can we post images into topics and what file types are acceptable ?

To tell the truth, if there is a manual for that, it is in Chinese.

BUT - to set this model to measure feet per second, do the following.

Turn the red power button on the top to the on position.

Immediately use a finger or thumb to hover over the black control button on the front.

Watch the watch the display lights flash 1s, 2s, 3s thru 9s then ON.

As soon as it flashes ON, jab and release the control button. The display will flash F for FPS, then it's tolerance number, then clear and beep. It's ready to record shots. It will beep again after every shot when it is ready for the next shot.

After 5 shots it will automatically calculate the average of the 5 shots. You may have to push the control button to prompt that.

I think if you hold the control button in it will clear the memory, but I'm in the habit of powering off and on to do that.

Many many THANKS Kawkan very much appreciated    !

Most of us are one way or another retail customers of Shenzen and the buyers

experience has improved over the past 10 years.

Even the Chinglish has improved and can more often be helpful rather than

amusing or mystifying.

I knew that this unit was capable of more than just default Meters per Second.

I remember using one years ago at the rifle club that definitely displayed FPS (feet per second)

I will have a go with your recommendation this evening .......

After all that is what we have become " BUTTON PUSHING MONEYS " !!!! :)

If I could I would send you a bunch of bananas in gratitude

Thanks SS I have got it sussed now and it's relatively straightforward along the lines GG suggested.

I try and steer clear of arithmetic if I can but I have made a note of your 3.28 factor it may come in useful.

The chrono we are discussing in this thread is now £27 delivered from a UK supplier through Aliexpress

and must be the best value around MPS, FPS, 20 shot memory and an average over a string of shots

I am pleased so far and will be putting it to some real use ove this weekend.

I take it from your name that you are either a bass player or a poor archer, Which is it ? :D

BTW I have found and downloaded an instruction video for this chrony on an Aliexpress ad.

I cannot link to it but have the mpeg file . Can we upload small videos into threads on here ? TIA r

Actually a fairly decent archer, if I do say so myself! :neener: Shooting a Howard Hill longbow, the occasional attention getter is inevitable.
