Hey guys, what size clay ammo do you shoot and where do you get it?
I got some 9 or 10mm as a freebie with a flip but have not found it for sale yet.
I find it is real nice when you don't want to leave steel lying around.

I bought 3000 off amazon, dark brown and 3/8, but there may be better deals around. I noticed that stored in the heat of my high desert garage (110* +), they soften a little and give off an earthy smell until the temp goes down. When I proposed storing them in the coolerator ... my wife just laughed.

I make my own, out of air dry clay, they’re around 10 mm or so, cheap to make, fun to shoot, fairly accurate to 15 yards, then just fun to see where they go, I shoot them sometimes, real fast, light, but heavy enough to take birds, really excites squirrels, raccoons, stray animals, fun stuff for just messin around.

Yup... I mostly make my own as well out of air dry clay... also have some from aliexpress it makes no difference if bamdset is matched. Sizeed between 9 to 11 mm...

I received small plastic bags with clay ammo with some Chinese slingshots ordered at Aliexpress a while ago: unfortunately, its diameter (caliber) tends to be rather varied (even Italian noodles are more consistent :naughty: ), which is not ideal in terms of overall performance.

The sample of "Clod Poppers" I received from Saunders a while ago is a totally different story: it is very well made with regard to its perfect spherical shape and caliber consistency, and has a relevant weight that allows it to perform efficiently further downrange too.

It can be used as reusable training ammo on soft targets (e.g. corrugated cardboard target against suspended towels), and makes a nice cloud of dust when it hits hard objects.

This is definitely the one to go for on the US market in my opinion.
