So I have the a standard 5ft breakdown and the Tim Wells 5ft version. After several weeks of shooting both I like the standard 5ft version 5% better. The differences are all cosmetic...the grips and color for the most part. The barrel shoots exactly the same for both and for the back yard the Tim Wells is perfect.

I want to use it for a stealthy walk in the woods with hunting and using it as a walking stick, the standard Cold steel has no forward grips and is black (better color for a hiking stick) I added a para cord forward grip right away, and it worked well for walking and shooting. I found some nice heavy leather today and thought it would look more like a walking stick if I dressed it up with leather and cover the mouth piece so you couldn't see it.

As a joke I added on the squirrel tail from my first blowgun kill and maybe it isn't a joke....what do you think? Is it too cheesy or silly looking? I am on the fence, and I thought maybe it would draw attention to myself to the animal I am stalking??

I kept the paracord wrap on it to give a thicker grip and I am still figuring out the mouth piece cover.

I also took my chemo pump bag and since it is tall and skinny I made it into a holder for the new Viper darts and the standard Broadhead darts for small game. So walking down the trail you will see me with a leather clad walking stick and a small black bag over my shoulder.

Looking forward to getting out on a hike with it even if I don't see any food running around out there.

I hope everyone is having an awesome blowing and shooting day! I am getting more and more steady daily and my shooting and blowing are getting better and more consistence.

Cheers

looks awesome to me ,got that *tribal* vibe goin on !!
Dude, you live in Boulder! That is a "spirit staff" not a walking stick. Also, ditch the word "gun" and "be mindful" that anything concerning breath should be referred to as "prana." Thus - to translate into Boulder-speak, instead of a walk in the woods with a walking stick to hunt squirrels with a blow gun. You go "forest bathing" with your "spirit staff" and "send prana" to our "woodland friends."

Too funny Tober, and the funniest part is you are 100% right. That's the reason I'm trying to make a stealthy because people in Boulder County love to hug their trees and squirrels. Yes I will be sending the breath love to our forest friends!?

I must confess that I myself have been a vegetarian, a vegan, a raw vegan?? Those were all phases, I love my meat! The raw vegan thing was the hardest thing to do. Nothing cooked over the temperature of the Sun could warm it up. No beans, rice, potatoes, starches, it was pretty much all vegetables all the time. I was never satisfied, but I will have to admit I felt great physically. Didn't last, now I just do a healthy diet. At least I can say I tried them all.

Yeah I like it too, I can always take it off later. Getting some good blow gunning in this weekend, I'm getting my distance locked in at 6, 8, 10, & 12 meters.
I love it when I blow the dart right on top of the mark!
Cheers

Thanks Makopat...I practice daily. With the lighter broadhead small game darts the aim is right at the bottom edge of the end of the barrel. So aiming is easier than the Vioer dart equivalent... which has a floating aiming point.

I think I am sticking with tube squirrel tail... the look is growing in me.

Cheers
