I have a question (ok, two questions) for the Dankung guys.

1) What is the advantage to the four hole pouch?

2) How do you "count" the bands? I'm not sure of the wording here. I've seen posts refering to four band and eight band set ups ect. Does this mean one looped band per side and two looped bands per side or more? Help me with the terminology.

A looped band is counted as two and a fixed band is counted as one.

I don't know for sure, but I have been told that a 4 hole multi-band pouch will turn over more often than a 2 hole pouch. One of my customers had this happen. I don't know the facts of the incidence though. I suspect that the bands were not even when shot. --Tex-shooter

Here is an example of the fixed 6 strand,six individual tubes three either side of the pouch as for the tubes getting tangled it rarely happens I can assume it's more likely to happen with looped tubes than with this set up.I prefer this fixed method as the tubes are short you can change a set in seconds they rarely tangle that may also be something to do with the flip style method also, and the tubes last a very long time not only that when a tube does eventually snap you only have to change one provided you have spare tube one set will last a very long time.

On the Dankungs, I have shot up to 6 tubes per side, counting cocktail setup, some with 2 hole pouch, some with 4 hole, very seldom any pouch turning, unless shooting ammo that is actually too light, light stuff shoots ok, and the bands hold up better than flatbands with light stuff, don't tear as soon, but when using Not lightweight ammo, very seldom have any problem with 4 or 2 hole, I use 4 hole in alla my Dankungs, they shoot OK with 2 or 4 hole
