slingshot hand made by the craftsman skilled from the slingshot club in Thailand.
The slingshot is hand carved wood from Siamese Rosewood (Dalbergia cochinchinensis) hardwood with painted black and cover polished

I think its an amazing design reminds me of an eagle

Beautiful work, but also functional with the hand protection offered from band slap by the "beak". Looks like a real labor of pure devotion.

And it reminds me of the carved elephant in Man with the Golden Gun.

While it is quite a looker, I think this slingshot is next to useless.

The fork is way too high to allow halfway powerful bands. Plus the fork is very narrow and fork hits can easily happen.

I may be blunt but then again I am a German!

At the end of the day it is only been made as a art piece, and a bit of fun, i dont think it was made to rip cans a hunt with, its to show the craftmanship of its maker, and yes i agree its no good for anything more than plinking with very light bands, but still nice work, jeff
