This is a old set of original bands off the old "Scope Shot" frame.

I know it wouldn't work on our normal stuff(TBG etc) but if I had anything heavier it would be worth testing.

Very interesting, curious how long that setup would hold up under constant shooting? I like the simple designs best

You should be able to get some rubber from McMaster-Carr that will do for that.

Charles posted a video showing how to do this. He starts explaining this method at about the 2 minute mark. It works with thin latex but you have to get a very clean hole or it will tear out quickly. You can get a cleaner hole if you put a thin piece of cardboard (cereal box, playing card, etc.) between the latex and the anvil of the punch.
