Hi Everyone
Can enyone help ?We are designing a NEW CAST SLINGSHOT for over the top shooting.
What are the most common size flat band that are available in the USA / WORLD.
If it helps the distance between the forks is 75 mm to center of each fork! with
a shooting gap of 50mm. Cast weight of Slingshot in Aluminium aprox 250 grms.
The overhall lenght of the slingshot will be 165 mm from the base of the handel
to the point were the flat bands will be attached, The Grip style will be hammer grip.Hope you can help

Hey Pete not my area of knowledge but I believe Saunders makes the only production flatband on the market so I would sat that those would be the most available in a commercial sense, I don't know their dimensions .... That being said you have hunter bands in the UK, Tex, A+, Bunnybuster and Flatband all producing various bands...those would be the the experts, Tex has a list of the band sets he sells in the classified section, I know his fit the Saunders.

Hi if you would be so kind want to make the slingshot so most band sets can be used??

If you look on some of the makers' websites here at the forum, you will get a good idea.
Try A+ Slingshots (Pallan) His, I think, are 1-1/8" at the fork.
