Got this one this morning. I estimate it to be a good 30 yards, it was actually further than I first thought after I shot it. 9.5mm lead, GZK 0.72 26-18 half butterfly. My first 2 shots were very slightly high so I was fortunate to have a chance of a third shot, fortunately I made it count.

It's a regular OTT, no PFS?

I made the frame as a standard OTT and that’s how I shoot it. It is a fairly narrow gap though, I wanted to give myself plenty of space for wide fork tips without the overall frame becoming huge.

Cool :) I want to build some slings a bit similar to your's...
For fun I will put on 4-5cm forktips (so I don't need doubles for highspeed) which then are also slightly angled, so they are absolutely parallel to the bands. I will only shoot 7mm and 8mm steel, so I hope a very narrow fork gap won't be a problem. I like bigger frames better anyway, since I wear glasses...
