I crack them on the side. I do eat the eggs, but there is so much cheese and bacon on them, the egg just holds it all together besides eggs have a FOWL taste

You can do this anytime. Make a small pile of salt on the counter and stand the egg on the salt. Blow the excess salt away. Looks like the egg is standing on its own. An old bar bet trick.

Also people stand a broom on equinox day, but it can be done anytime.

Well, I learned something today. I asked my mother in-law how she heard about equinox day and setting on it send. She said she believes her late husband read it somewhere. She is 87 and Im not telling her any different. I never questioned her, but Grandpa Grumpy peaked my curiosity. I find it interesting how myths get started.
