Hi. I've never made a fork before and i think it's time i had a go. I've just cut down a eucalyptus tree in the garden so i've got a pile of large unseasoned round sections (tall enough to cut with the grain obviously). Is this a suitable material and does it need to be seasoned first? Many thanks in advance for any advice. Ali.

Well to be honest I do not know that strength has the structure of the fibers to make a board, but I can tell you that natural and are workingvery well. here are some samples. and you added a link to therecent issue YoYo friend just made one too

Thanks Chepo. I can't find any information on its strength as a board except that it is a hardwood so i'll just give it a go and test it . If nothing else it will be good practice! I love the colour of that natural you've done.
