Expansion/Elasticity test of Kent Elastomer tube

Some of you may remember that i bought some Kent Elastomer tubing a while back. They have a 3/16"ID and 3/32" thick wall. I attached it to a water faucet to see how much it would expand before breaking. Watch and see.

Just out of interest, how did you block the end?
I didnt. Household water pressure as around 80PSI, which is enough to do what you saw there.

I think it is amazing how much it streched. It expanded in diameter by 4-5x, and it also grew in length by a similar amount.
