You can see this is like a previous slingshot I like, that I posted. It is similar with the handle design I like, but lowered the fork. It only has one coat of finish that isn't quite hard but wanted to post the photos.

As you may notice I like to leave the heavy rasp marks where the fingers grip. The photos seem to highlight the imperfections. It looks better in real life. DSC01104.JPG DSC01105.JPG DSC01106.JPG DSC01114.JPG DSC01115.JPG DSC01116.JPG DSC01119.JPG

Nice frame. Bet you can't wait to strap that baby up!
Your right! I put it in the oven to finish the hardening process. Success!

I am hoping this is the final shape, or with only a rasp here or there as I want to be able to cast some frames of the final shape.

I like that a lot. It's classy, somewhat traditional, somewhat modern, it's well finished, looks comfortable and the low forks would allow stronger bands.

I wish I could make some forks like this, but almost all my hard wood is in knife slabs 4"x1.5"x.75", so I'm limited to plastics and metal frames for now.

Keep up the good work!
