You can see this is like a previous slingshot I like, that I posted. It is similar with the handle design I like, but lowered the fork. It only has one coat of finish that isn't quite hard but wanted to post the photos.

As you may notice I like to leave the heavy rasp marks where the fingers grip. The photos seem to highlight the imperfections. It looks better in real life. Wood Toy Fawn Human leg Nail

Thanks for the compliments!

Though much of the compliment can be reflected back to all who post their work and ideas, which inspire me and so I hope my post is one which adds and sustains everyone's enthusiasm.

I like that a lot. It's classy, somewhat traditional, somewhat modern, it's well finished, looks comfortable and the low forks would allow stronger bands.

I wish I could make some forks like this, but almost all my hard wood is in knife slabs 4"x1.5"x.75", so I'm limited to plastics and metal frames for now.
